Summertime Spectacular

06/09/2010 19:30

After a very successful year at the Palace Theatre, Paignton... breaking the mould for summer shows, Summertime Spectacular is back! But this time at the Carlton Theatre, Teignmouth!

Let us take you back to the days of real traditional family seaside variety with this fun packed summer show!
An evening of pure delight with song, dance, comedy, acrobatics, magic and so much more!

Hosted by the very talented DEAN WINTERS who is no stranger to the stage.

Most recently spending last summer at the Royal Hippodrome Theatre, Eastbourne and Christmas 2009 at the Severn Theatre, Shrewsbury starring as Smee in Peter Pan.

He is known as the little man with a big voice! With his mix of hilarious comedy, big personality and amazing vocals!

Speciality duo SPENCER AND LEE are back for a second year with Summertime Spectacular and we guarantee that they will have you amazed with their award winning zany comedy and acrobatics!

A show just wouldn't be a show without music and dance, and SUMMERTIME SPECTACULAR is no exception... Featuring songs from top West End shows like Oliver, Mary Poppins and the fantastic new production of The Wizard of Oz!

These amazing production numbers are performed by outstanding vocalists CHARLENE JAMES and PAUL MURPHY two very talented and experienced performers. They will be supported by other local vocalists including a bright new singing star... 12 year old CHARLOTTE JERRETT.

We also welcome the very stunning 'James & Murphy Dancers' and our junior dancers performing some amazing choreography produced by our resident choreographer Tracey Loveridge.

Summertime Spectacular will also feature 2 local youngsters who were chosen by James & Murphy Productions through a 'Britains Got Talent' style audition process in March this year.

Details of this event are to be confirmed, so watch this space for more information!

So whether you're four or ninety-four, this is the ultimate feel good show, guaranteed to have you tapping your feet, singing along and grinning from ear to ear!
