Double Death - Simon Williams
October 17th to 20th at 7:30pm
Directed by Geoff Wildey
Set in an isolated house on the north Cornish coast, in the middle of a howling gale, the action becomes even spookier when the electricity fails, and it’s down to torch light.
The Hennessy twins, Alex and Max have been constant rivals from childhood, so when Alex falls while they are cliff climbing, was it an accident?
A question that has occurred to the local police, who in the person of Gerry Hinks as Detective Inspector Fergus, decide to make some discreet enquiries.
Alex, now a paraplegic, wheelchair-bound, lives in the house with his aunt, a splendid performance from Anna Barry, who, fond as she is of the two nephews, she has virtually raised after the death of their mother, is well aware of the tensions that exist between them. Max is in London, or so the message on the telephone answering service, would suggest. But is he?
